Who’s excited to have Mother’s Day just around the corner? I love being spoiled by my kids (as well as spoiling my mum) so I wanted to share with you a few of my favourite places to spoil your loved ones this year.
Liz Earle Treatment Rooms
I may be biased but it’s lovely to enjoy a pampering session for the special day. Whether you’re bringing your mother or daughter (or both!), there’s something for everyone on the treatment menu at the flagship Liz Earle store in Sloane Square. Choose from a variety of options to suit any skin type – I’d recommend trying a signature facial or treating yourselves to an interactive skincare tutorial to find out how best to look after your skin.

Afternoon Tea
If you’re looking for a sweet treat for your family don’t just pop along to any old hotel for Afternoon Tea this Mother’s Day – pop aboard a routemaster instead! B Bakery is ready to take you on a double decker bus from Victoria to see the sights of London whilst scoffing finger sandwiches and cupcakes. Sounds delightful to me! Book a tour or hire the whole top floor to really impress.

Mother’s Day Lunch
Why not take your family to a delicious and healthy to lunch at Petersham Nurseries. With a focus on ‘slow food’ – sourcing from local farmers and respecting the produce – the menu is created by ex head chef of Hix, Damian Clisby. Featuring season vegetables and delicious desserts with a focus on wellbeing and health, this is a treat everyone will love.

Come to my talk with Kensington Mums
Why not join up with myself and other mums at the inspirational talk Kensington Mums are hosting on 18th March at the Crowne Plaza in London. I’ll be speaking alongside HRH Princess Tessy de Luxembourg and Tamara Beckwith talking about how to run a business as a mumtrepeneur as well as having a work life balance. After the talks you’ll have a chance to network with other like minded mums and friends followed by Afternoon Tea. Tickets are selling fast so make sure you grab yours soon.

Walk down Columbia Road Flower Market
If you’re after something simple and lovely to do on the Sunday itself why not take a stroll down the historic Columbia Road when the flower market is in full swing. The cheery sellers make the inevitable queues worthwhile – and you can pick up some blooms for your mum or daughter at the same time. Look out for the Scarlett Pineapple’s, a truly unique piece that I love and would look great in any Mother’s Day bouquet.

Superfood Breakfast
If you want to go for a more ‘DIY’ approach this Mother’s Day why not make her breakfast in bed? There’s plenty of simple recipes out there that are sure to make your mum’s morning but this Green Shakshuka by Madeleine Shaw is one of my favourites. It’s packed full of kale containing Vitamin A and Vitamin C – both of which promote healthy cell growth and help make the collagen your skin needs. Tasty and something to help you #GetTheGlow!
