A floral stylist with a background in design, Willow Crossley knows her anemones from her azaleas and her foxgloves from her freesias.
Having created bespoke floral arrangements for the likes of Anthropologie, Jo Malone, Liz Earle and Mulberry as well as private parties and events, Willow is the most in demand fleur we know! In celebration of her recently published ‘Flourish’, a book about creating stunning arrangements, we chatted all things floral after her most recent facial.

Solomon Seal. People rarely use them. I’ve never seen one in a florist.
How can we be incorporate more flowers into our daily beauty/ skincare routines?
If you infuse rose petals in water you can make the most delicious, calming toner. Roses contain Vitamin C, and are ideal for rehydrating dry skin. It’s also very good for and soothing sun damaged skin. Boil 2 cups of water and let it cool. Add some rose petals and cover the bowl. Let the petals soak for an hour. Remove the petals and you’re left with your very own rose water toner.
How can we be incorporating more flowers into our food?
More cakes with edible flowers?! My friend Mel makes THE most beautiful flower covered cakes. They’re exquisite. Almost too good to eat. Almost.
What can incorporating flowers into our skincare routines help with?
I think the fewer chemicals we put on our skin the better. Flowers and natural ingredients are so much kinder and better for us. I think people don’t often realise quite what’s put in a lot of beauty products.
