Many of my clients request radio frequency within their bespoke facials because they love how it makes them feel and look. What is INDIBA?

Radio frequency is a non-invasive treatment that uses radio waves to stimulate collagen production, tighten and lift the skin, reduce wrinkles and improve skin tone.

INDIBA® EDNA devices stimulate healthy cell function and revitalisation through radio frequency therapy. INDIBA works at a specific frequency of 448kHz, which causes thermal effects as well as sub-thermal ones (405nm), achieving noticeable results from the first session.

The radiofrequency device generates a heat (thermal) which dilates blood vessels, increasing blood flow, oxygenating tissue and cells, increasing cell metabolism and encouraging drainage. It also breaks down fat/fatty deposits, detoxifies and encourages toxin drainage, increases cell metabolism and encourages collagen production.

In addition to this thermal effect we have two other options that are unique to our technology: hyperactivation & biostimulation. Hyperactivation works by breaking down fat/fatty deposits using deep penetrating heat energy in combination with ultrasound waves to break apart fatty substances within your tissues. Biostimulation is an advanced technique that activates the cells metabolic rate (the rate at which they produce energy), increases circulation of oxygen around the body leading toward increased collagen production resulting in younger looking skin without surgery!

 

What are the benefits of radio-frequency?

Radio-frequency is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment for skin tightening and rejuvenation. The radio frequency energy works to stimulate collagen production, which leads to increased skin firmness and elasticity. The heat generated by radio-frequency helps plump up the deeper layers of your skin, improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while also increasing all around skin health and rejuvenation.

What does the treatment involve?

The treatment involves the use of radio-frequency energy, which is delivered to the skin via a hand-piece applied to the skin, with a cream on the skin to allow the device to smoothly flow and move across the skin. A back plate, is placed behind the client to lie on. The frequency travels from the hand piece applied to the face and or area being treated to the back plate.

The treatment feels like a hot stone face massage, it’s very comfortable. It’s painless, and takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on how many areas of your face are treated at one time. You will be able to talk throughout most of the procedure so there is no need for you to be silent during your treatment session, however because it is also immensely relaxing you might prefer to also take this time to switch off.

 

Can we have a treatment on its own or combined with other treatments?

Radio-frequency is a non-surgical treatment that uses heat to stimulate collagen production, resulting in an overall tightening of the skin. It can be used on its own or combined with other treatments such as chemical peels, face lifting massage, LED and so much more. These treatments are often used to target specific areas of the face (such as nasolabial folds, loss of firmness of the lower face and neck and the eye area.).

How often should I have INDIBA?

In the first few weeks, it is safe and effective to have 2–3 INDIBA treatments a week for 2 weeks. Once your skin is more hydrated and healthy, you can reduce the frequency to once a month as a maintenance treatment and as part of your bespoke WOW factor facials.
