Honey Mask

Honey is immensely healing not just when eaten but also when applied to the skin. It has natural antibacterial and anti fungal properties, these have been shown to increase twofold when diluted in water. Honey can help in the healing process of the skin with burns and abrasions, interestingly bacteria cannot live in honey.

As a very cost effective face mask you can apply raw honey to the face and leave for up to 20mins or you may like to try mixing

3 teaspoons of honey
1/2 teaspoon of water
1 teaspoon of face oil

Honey is obviously sticky so please tie your hair back before you apply the mask
Remove with a hot muslin or flannel Always use an organic honey, this will contain more of the natural healing properties.
