Tried & Tested
Expert health and beauty therapist Abigail James began the treatment with a comprehensive consultation that examined everything from the cosmetics I use to the amount of alcohol I drink.
As the treatment began, Abigail explained every facial is unique; the techniques and products she uses evolve as the treatment progresses dependent on the needs of the skin, which means every client gets a bespoke facial. After settling in the cosy heated bed, Abigail began by using massage techniques on my head to help me relax into the treatment. She then cleansed my skin using an organic purifying facial cleanser by Dr Alkaitis. After applying a toner and an ultrasonic exfoliator, my skin was steamed to open the pores before she began the slightly uncomfortable process of extraction (a nice way to say squeezing spots and blackheads). My skin was quickly soothed with the application of a honey and organic yoghurt face mask. Every step of the treatment included massage techniques devised by Abigail to heal, lift, plump and detoxify my skin. Abigail finished the treatment by offering helpful advice on my skincare routine based on an assessment of my skin condition during the facial.
I stepped out onto the bustling street with a face that felt soothed and moisturised with none of the tightness that often occurs with many other facials.
